Halle Berry has a smoking-hot bikini body, thanks to a low-carb diet and daily exercise that control her type 1 diabetes.

Halle, who just celebrated her 50th birthday, has remained one of the most beautiful women in the world, thanks to a healthy lifestyle.

Halle, who has type 1 diabetes, stays fit and gorgeous with a low carb, sugar-free diet and exercise, as Celebrity News previously reported.

Berry, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 19, follows a low-carb diet that emphasizes leafy green vegetables and high-quality proteins like salmon, eggs and chicken.

Physicians say low carb diets such as the ketogenic, Atkins and modified Paleo diets should be the first line of defense for treating diabetes because they often outperform drugs, as Celebrity Fitness Health has reported.

Low carb diets can eliminate the need for diabetes drugs because they work immediately to reduce high blood sugar, according to a report published in the journal Nutrition.

“Dietary carbohydrate restriction reliably reduces high blood glucose, leads to the reduction or elimination of medication, and has never shown side effects comparable to those seen in many drugs,” wrote Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

Halle Berry works out with her trainer 3 days a week, and exercises at least 30 minutes a day on her own. Her workouts include cardio sessions, calisthenics, cross-training and light weightlifting.

Like many people, Berry hates to work out, but does it because it keeps her diabetes under control. Plus, it helps her maintain her hot bikini body and age-defying health.

“I do not love to work out,” said Halle. “But if I stick to exercising every day and put the right things in my mouth, my diabetes stays in check.”
